Guides
Short, plain-English help for the research loop Atto supports: build a find plan on your desktop kit, open links in your own browser, capture what you find, and approve records one at a time. Atto never logs into archives for you and never files paperwork.
Research guides
- Italian words — civil-record and form vocabulary in plain English first.
- Italy records (Antenati) — search-registry deep links, national vs regional archives, and why a scan is not a copia integrale.
- US hometown ladder — Ellis Island, naturalization, draft cards, SS-5, USCIS, and Italian Genealogical Group NYC.
- FamilySearch & Ancestry — using commercial trees after Atto opens a search; capture to Inbox; Approve as the human gate.
- Read old handwriting — photo or scan a hard-to-read act, pick who it is about, check the draft on Approve.
